At Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham, we are helping to transform local care in the community, with the generosity of our patients, families, and friends. We are reimagining the hospital’s future with a vision for growth.
BID-Needham will break ground in December on a 37,000-square-foot Outpatient Clinical Center for advanced specialty care in cardiology, gastroenterology, orthopaedics and other medical-surgical specialties. The building is expected to open in spring 2019.
A Commitment to Community
The design of the center features a nod to the local neighborhood adjacent to the hospital, with a residential style façade on one side, and a modern, sleek facility on the other. It incorporates natural light to encourage healing for patients and a collaborative work space for physicians and staff. The building includes a conference center for meeting space.
Over the past 10 years, we have invested $100 million into our facilities, of which 12.5% came from philanthropic efforts. Please join us, and invite your friends, family, and colleagues to give to BID–Needham to support expert, world-class care in your neighborhood.
Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham’s (BID–Needham) 19th annual gala was held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Westin Copley Place, Boston. This year’s celebration, “Havana Nights,” brought together more than 825 community members for a night of bidding, dancing and excitement, all in support of the construction of a state-of-the-art Outpatient Clinical Center. The event raised a record $750,000 to support the new building. Click here to read.
