Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at Beth Israel Deaconess–Needham

Sharing a new outpatient clinic makes it more convenient for patients to receive wound care, specialized care for diabetes and other endocrine disorders, and laboratory services all in one location. Our center is located less than a mile from Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham at 145 Rosemary Street in Needham. This gives patients easy access to hospital-based services at BID–Needham and, when needed, a quick referral to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

For more than two decades, patients with diabetes and other endocrine disorders have received quality care at the Joslin Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham. Affiliated with the world-renowned Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, our Center provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of endocrine disorders, including diabetes and thyroid, adrenal and pituitary diseases, and bone and calcium abnormalities.

The American Diabetes Association has recognized the Joslin Center at BID–Needham for meeting the national standards for diabetes self-management education.

Our team includes two board-certified endocrinologists, an advanced practice nurse practitioner, certified diabetes educators, nurse educators and registered dietitians.
