CardioVascular Institute at BID Needham
The CardioVascular Institute (CVI) at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham (BID Needham) provides comprehensive care for all types of heart and vascular conditions. Our team includes board-certified cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and advanced practice providers working at BID Needham and at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston.
In our suite on the second floor of the BID Needham Outpatient Clinical Center, we offer general cardiology care, testing, and pacemaker checks. In addition, cardio-oncology appointments are available with a cardiologist who can help patients with cancer minimize adverse effects on their heart that may result from therapies, including radiation. Our practice also provides complete vascular care addressing aortic aneurysms and circulatory problems such as peripheral artery disease. Patients can receive treatment onsite for varicose veins and spider veins.
Individuals who require complex cardiovascular care not available at BID Needham have seamless access to highly specialized services at the CVI at BIDMC, ranging from angioplasty and minimally invasive aortic aneurysm repair to heart and vascular surgery.
