Street Team

BID Needham’s community volunteer program, called the “Street Team,” allows students to serve as hospital ambassadors at community events. The hospital proudly partners with more than 60 community and non-profit organizations, and our Street Team is an important link to these partners.

The BID Needham Street Team consists of employees, board members, and local students (6th to 12th grade) who are interested in volunteering to increase the profile of the hospital and give back to the community. We have a strong presence in the spring and fall with many weekend opportunities. The Street Team offers more flexibility than our traditional in-hospital volunteer program.

Some volunteer opportunities include community presence at:

• Street Fairs

• Road Races

• Charity Walks

• Other Community Events
