Our Lab Testing Services

BID Needham expert pathologists are committed to the highest quality patient care. Our laboratory provides state-of-the-art testing services for both inpatients and outpatients. We offer blood, urine, fecal (stool), throat culture and other testing services to diagnose your problem. Our full range of diagnostic services can help your health care provider design a treatment plan just for you.

Blood Test

When your doctor requests a specific blood test, visit the lab for a blood draw. You won’t need to make an appointment, but please stop at the registration desk prior to your visit.

Outpatient Lab Hours

Monday to Friday: 6:00 am to 6:30 pm.
Saturday: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Sundays, Holidays and States of Emergency: Closed

Specialty Lab Services

We are affiliated with the Department of Pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston. This provides you with direct access to advanced resources and diagnostic testing that are only available within an academic institution. The BIDMC pathologists are experts in highly specialized areas of diagnostic pathology and laboratory medicine.
