BID-Needham Honored with Stroke Gold-Plus Quality Achievement Award
For the fourth year in a row, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham has received the coveted Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold-Plus Quality Achievement Award for implementing specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association for the treatment of stroke patients. The award recognizes the hospital's commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of stroke care by making sure stroke patients receive treatment according to nationally accepted standards and recommendations.
A Mother's Story We could tell you more about the exemplary work of our Stroke Team, the Emergency Department, and everyone here at BID-Needham but we think patient Julie Redlitz says it best in this video. Hear how this mother of three survived a stroke after coming to BID-Needham. This is the story of one patient and how she was surrounded by a community of caring at BID-Needham.
