Losing the Last 10 Pounds is Topic of March 13 Lecture
Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham will present a lecture on "Losing the Last 10 Pounds" March 13 as part of its annual "Community Connections" health education series.
The lecture will be presented by Alison Lanifero, R.D., a dietician in the diabetes program at BID-Needham. She will discuss how to shed those last difficult last 10 pounds after childbirth, and will answer questions following the presentation. The lecture will include tips that are helpful for anyone attempting to lose weight, in addition to recent mothers.
The lecture, co-sponsored by Parent Talk, is free and will be held in the hospital's Dickerson Room from 7-8 p.m. For more information, call 781-453-3622.
This is one of many "Community Connections" lectures scheduled throughout the year, in which the hospital partners with community organizations to identify and respond to health issues that are of specific concern to their members.
