An evening of country music and entertainment from Country 102.5 FM will be held April 28 to benefit Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham.
The 7-11 p.m. event will be held at the Dedham Health & Athletic Complex (DHAC), 200 Providence Highway, Dedham, and will be hosted by DHAC owner Lloyd Gainsboro and WKLB Country 102.5 FM. Admission is free and open to the public. Free food will be provided by WKLB. Proceeds from raffles and auctions will be donated to BID-Needham to purchase art for inpatient rooms and other patient areas.
"We hope this event will help raise awareness among Dedham residents and others that we are incredibly lucky to have a community hospital of this caliber so close to home," said Gainsboro, who serves on the BID-Needham Board of Advisors. "Especially in an emergency, it's reassuring to know that we can get such quick access to experienced Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center emergency physicians."
Entertainment will be provided by WKLB's Hank Morse and Carolyn Kruse. In addition to choosing contemporary and classic country hits for dancing, Morse and Kruse will conduct a live auction for sports tickets, country music memorabilia and other exciting prizes. Guests are also invited to participate in a silent auction and raffles.
