Dr. Hannah Vu Joins Family Medicine Practice

Family physician Hannah Vu has joined Beth Israel Deaconess Family Medicine--Medfield, where she is welcoming new patients.

Dr. Vu recently completed a Brown University Medical School residency in family medicine at Memorial Hospital in Rhode Island. She received a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in Ponoma, Calif., and earned a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and cell biology from the University of California, San Diego.

Dr. Vu joins existing practitioners Dr. Laura A. Garelick and Dr. Maura E. Shaughnessy at BID Family Medicine--Medfield. The practice serves the communities of Medfield, Walpole, Millis, Medway, Bellingham, Franklin, Norfolk, Westwood and other nearby communities.

On Saturday, Sept. 16, Dr. Vu will join her colleagues in an "Ask-a-Doc" booth during Medfield Day in "uptown" Medfield.

"I look forward to providing care to adults and children in Medfield and surrounding communities," said Dr. Vu. "I am excited about the opportunity to practice in the warm, family-focused environment established by Drs. Garelick and Shaughnessy over the years."

Dr. Vu's clinical interests include women's health and sports medicine. She is fluent in Vietnamese.
