Hidden in Plain Sight is an interactive display of a teenager’s bedroom which contains common items that can hide substances, and helps parents to “spot” signs of at-risk behavior in their teen. Visitors will receive education about substance use from trained volunteers followed by a tour of the model bedroom. This exhibit is an integral part of community education and encourages parents to talk to their children about at-risk behaviors that can lead to opioid use, addiction, and substance use
disorders.

This presentation is sponsored by Needham Parents Care, Substance Prevention Alliance of Needham (SPAN) and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham.
