Garrity Way at Town Hall, Needham, Mass.

The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.

The Town of Needham and Needham Police will be doing a medication collection in front of Needham Town Hall from 10 am-2 pm. You can bring any unused medications that day to dispose of them safely. This Take Back Day is a partnership of the Needham Division of Public Health, Needham Police Department and the Substance Prevention Alliance of Needham (SPAN).

Know Before You Go:
Check your home for unused over-the-counter and prescription medications. Check the expiration dates on all medications. Needles, thermometers, medical waste or illegal drugs such as cocaine or marijuana will not be accepted*
*Needle disposal available at Needham RTS
