Women receive comprehensive care in an environment dedicated to helping them manage the physical and emotional challenges associated with gynecologic cancer. Patients receive personalized care from gynecologic oncologists who work in partnership with a pathologist and a radiation oncologist who have special expertise in gynecologic oncology. Patients also receive support from a social worker dedicated to gynecologic oncology and BID-Needham's extensive network of cancer support resources.

The clinicians and administrators of the Gynecologic Oncology division at BID-Needham realize that exceptional patient care must be coordinated and delivered on a continuum of care that starts with the referring physician. In addition to prompt responses to referral and consultation requests, referring physicians receive copies of all medical notes, diagnostic tests and treatment reports.
