Alexa Day, MEd, RDN, LDN, Clinical Nutrition Manager

Alexa graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from Mount Ida College. After having children, Alexa decided to pursue her true passion and returned to school to become a Registered Dietitian. She graduated from Simmons University with a Certificate in the Didactic Program in Dietetics, completed a 10-month dietetic internship with Sodexo, and recently graduated with a Master of Education from Framingham State University.

Alexa strives to improve the health of others through nutrition.

Kevin Crawley, RD, LDN

Kevin Crawley RD, LDN is a dietitian specializing in diabetes education at BID Needham’s Joslin Clinic. He holds BS degrees in Clinical Dietetics, Culinary Nutrition and Culinary Arts. A former chef and owner of several Boston area restaurants for many years, he has a “food first” approach to Medical Nutrition Therapy that is rooted in scientific evidence-based research. Kevin did his dietetic internship at Texas Medical Center and the University of Houston.

Katie Hibert, MS, RD, LDN

Katie graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and a minor in Nutrition and Food Sciences. During her undergraduate work, she learned about the journey food takes from plants or animals to our kitchen tables, and how this can impact human health. Katie earned a Master’s Degree in Nutrition from Boston University and completed her dietetic internship in 2017.

Katie’s passion is to support and empower patients through empathetic and judgment-free nutrition counseling.

Registered Dietitians are considered the food and nutrition experts who can help you meet your health and nutrition goals. Our dietitians are registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. They are required to participate in ongoing professional education. Some dietitians are certified in specialized areas of nutrition such as diabetes, renal, pediatrics, oncology, weight management and sports nutrition.
