Katie Hibert, MS, RD, LDN

Katie graduated from University of Vermont with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and minor in Nutrition and Food Sciences. During her undergraduate work she learned about the journey food takes from plants or animals to our kitchen tables, and how this can impact human health. Katie earned a Master’s Degree in Nutrition from Boston University and completed her dietetic internship in 2017. Prior to joining BID-Needham, Katie worked in the outpatient bariatric surgery program at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, MA and at University of Connecticut as a research assistant studying health and social media.

Katie’s passion is to support and empower patients through empathetic and judgment-free nutrition counseling. She believes that everyone can achieve a peaceful and fulfilling relationship with food and their bodies. Katie specializes in medical nutrition therapy and has experience counseling patients with a variety of challenges and goals including weight management, disordered eating, prediabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and digestive disorders.

Anna Perracchio, RD, LDN

Stephen Jacobs Eyre

Anna graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science with a concentration in Nutrition from Keene State College. In addition to her work at the BID-Needham Outpatient Nutrition Clinic, she is also a clinical inpatient Registered Dietitian and food service manager at BID-Needham Hospital. Prior to becoming a dietitian, Anna worked at Second Harvest, a food bank located in Washington State, as a volunteer AmeriCorps member, teaching those in the community how to cook flavorful, nourishing meals on a budget. Taking her love of cooking with her from the west coast, Anna completed her dietetic internship through Sodexo with a concentration in culinary nutrition where she worked in variety of settings such as university campuses, hospital’s and community programs to lead cooking demonstrations.

Anna specializes in medical nutrition therapy and helps her clients improve their overall health with a non-diet approach. She gives her clients the confidence to make small, gradual changes in lifestyle and mindset to create a healthy balance with food, their bodies and overall health, without sacrificing the pleasure of food. Anna has experience with nutrition counseling in those with digestive disorders, cardiovascular diseases, pregnancy, weight management, tube feeding assessments and disordered eating.

Our dietitians are registered with the The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. They are required to participate in ongoing professional education. Some dietitians are certified in specialized areas of nutrition such as diabetes, renal, pediatrics, oncology, weight management and sports nutrition.
