When it comes to breast care, we have leading experts in the field. Co-led by Ranjna Sharma, MD, and Vandana Dialani, MD, our center brings together a dynamic team of experts specializing in breast care.  Our breast imaging department is accredited by the American College of Radiology, and our technical staff are all registered with specialized credentials. Our breast pathologists are renowned nationally — even internationally — for their expertise. They work closely with radiologists, referring doctors and the rest of the care team to develop individualized care plans for each patient.

Directions & Parking

Parking

The parking lot at the main entrance of the hospital is reserved for patients and visitors. Wheelchairs are available at the main entrance.

Public Transportation
  • The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) bus stop is located directly across the street from BID Needham at the corner of Oak and Chestnut streets. Bus #59 services this stop. From the MBTA website, view an updated schedule of #59 bus, as well as a map of its route.
  • If you’re traveling by subway, the #59 bus can be accessed on Walnut Street in Newton, right above the Newton Highlands T stop on the Green Line.
  • BID Needham is only a five-minute walk from the Needham Junction stop of the Needham commuter line. Weekday and weekend schedules can be found on the MBTA website. From the commuter rail stop, turn right onto Chestnut Street and continue walking until you see the parking lot of the hospital. 
Driving Directions

From the North, West and East

  • Take Route 95 South to Exit 35B (old Exit 19B). 
  • Proceed on Highland Avenue for about 1.4 miles through four traffic lights. 
  • At the fifth traffic light, bear right onto Chapel Street.
  • Cross Great Plain Avenue onto Chestnut Street.
  • Follow Chestnut Street for two blocks.
  • BID Needham is on the left, just past the fire station and the intersection with School Street.

From the South

  • Take Route 95 to Exit 32 (old Exit 17). 
  • Turn right onto Route 135. 
  • Proceed about 1.6 miles along Dedham Avenue (Route 135).
  • Bear left onto School Street and follow to the end at Chestnut Street.
  • BID Needham is on the left.
