National Recognition for Excellence in Stroke Care

For the fourth year in a row Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham (BID–Needham) has received the Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold-Plus Quality Achievement Award for implementing specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association for the treatment of stroke patients.

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham Awarded Grant for Enhanced Care Coordination

A $300,000 grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Health Policy Commission (HPC) to enhance the delivery of safe,  Commonwealth of Massachusettscoordinated care through the integration of advanced IT heathcare programs and the expansion of case management. The grant is from Phase 1 of the HPC's Community Hospital Acceleration, Revitalization, and Transformation (CHART) Investment Program.
